The women’s and men’s marathon races will take place on the same course as the 10 km Champions Run. In contrast to the open race, the elite runners will run the 10 km loop four times. In order to clock up the exact marathon distance of 42.195 km, the elite marathon runners will make an extra loop around the TV Tower and the Red City Hall before returning to the original course at the Lustgarten.

Walking

The walking events will be carried out on a 2 km loop on the grand boulevard “Unter den Linden” between the Brandenburg Gate and Bebelplatz.
